Christmas Day in the NBA has become a forum for players to reveal holiday-themed fashions. Each year, a new range of limited-edition, seasonal sneaker colorways make their debut on the feet of players. Among the more memorable kicks in recent years were Kobe Bryant?s lime green ?Grinch? sneakers.?This season will have players styled head-to-toe in holiday gear. To accompany the shoes that will likely hit the hardwood and to?celebrate 65 years of Christmas Day games, the league will be outfitting its stars in special ?BIG Color? uniforms.
All teams competing on Christmas Day will wear a version of the colorful game day threads. The participating squads include: Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets.
The uniforms are simplistic in design, featuring a monochromatic color scheme with solid color team logos, names, and numbers framed with minimal accent color and a shimmer finish for a bold statement. The BIG Color jerseys are part of the adidas Winter Court Collection, which also includes new warm-up jackets and shooting shirts.
